Blood Drive Notice for Our Lady of Grace-K of C
The value of blood is priceless to those in need. For example, about one-third of heart surgery patients need a transfusion, so please plan on participating in this important community event. All types of blood are needed. Life South takes great care to insure the safest conditions possible by requiring temperature checks before admission and cleaning all areas used with medical grade sanitizer.
Appointments are recommended but not required and can be made through the Life South Website at www.lifesouth.org, the donor portal, or calling Life South at 352-527-3061.
Custom T shirts will be available as tokens of appreciation for all donors. The feeling of accomplishment is immeasurable.
The 8/15/2020 drive collected 16 life saving units of blood from 21 donors. We are extremely grateful for all who donated the precious gift of life for this drive during these trying times.
