Please arrange to purchse your tickets in advance (see prices below) at www.iTickets.com/events/45601, as many nights sell out. Proceeds from the Christmas Train.support outreach programs for at-risk, foster, medically needy, and special needs children. The Christmas Train makes a 20-minute journey around the Kirby Family Farm property on an authentic 100 year-old locomotive; rides start at 6:30 and run every  30 minutes until 9:00 pm. Santa Claus is on site to pose with you for free photos on your camera or cell phone. Enjoy the Christmas Buddies Dance Party, Petting Zoo, Christmas Magic Magic Show, and Antique Ferris Wheel, Italian Carousel and other rides, along with Tractor-pulled Wagon Ride to a Lost Christmas Town while listening to a short Christmas Story, and visit a Secret Elf Shoppe (children ages 10 and younger and foster and special needs youths  under 18 receive a free gift).

This year marks the 28th anniversary of Christmas Trees on the Square. Twenty trees, each representing a non-profit or service organizations in Citrus County, will shine throughout the holiday season. The trees will be put up and decorated on Saturday, November 27 at 9:00 am by Santa’s elves! Members of the public are welcome to join in the decorating with the staff of the museum and the Citrus County Historical Society. There will be coffee, cocoa, and donuts provided for all of Santa’s Elves!

All guests will need a ticket. Ticket prices are $25 per person, and children under 1 year old are admitted free. A fun-filled day with Santa and his Magical Unicorn. The visit will begin with each guest having the opportunity to have Holiday Photos with Santa and Cupcake in the Christmas decorated Critter Corner. Families, children or both will have the opportunity to spend 10-15 minutes taking photos for Holiday Cards, keepsakes or just for fun! After your visit with Santa, guests will enjoy a self-guided walking tour around the animal ranch to meet and ineract with goats, llamas, chickens, tortoises, donkeys, a camel and more! All guests will need to complete a waiver and sign in upon arrival. Guests will need to bring their own camera to take photos. One of Santa's helpers can take family photos on your phone, if needed. Feed for the animals and snacks & drinks for people can be purchased for an additional charge. We do not have a dining option. Since many of our animals are rescues, donations are appreciated, such as apples, bananas, romaine lettuce, zucchini, carrots, sweet potatoes, blueberris, grapes, papert towels and dish soap, etc.

 The City of Crystal River, Crystal River Main Street and the Citrus County Chamber of Commerce have partnered to bring three days of magical holiday fun to Crystal River Town Square. There will be an 'ice' skating rink, along with a 5,000 square-foot inflatable Snow-Mazing Christmas themed maze. The 30 minute 'ice' skating sessions are $10 per person, and you can add 30 minutes in the Snow-Mazing maze for an additional $3. One hour wristbands to experience the Snow-Mazing maze only are $5. Both events are all ages with ice skates available in toddler through adult sizes.

Hosted by the Withlacoochee Gulf Area Chamber of Commerce, the event will begin at Just Between Us (22 Hwy. 40 West in Inglis) and Firefly Vintage (18 U.S. Hwy. 19 in Inglis) and proceed west - with several stops of interest along the way - to end at the Blackwater Grill and Bar (6301 Riverside Dr. in Yankeetown) where there will be prizes. A map will be provided to help you find the stops, raffle tickets and points of interest along the route.

 Presented by the Citrus County Chamber of Commerce. The theme is Christmas in Toyland. The parade will begin at Citrus Avenue in Crystal River and travel south on the southbound lanes of U.S. Hwy. 19 (N. Suncoast Blvd.) to Paradise Point. Parade goers are encouraged to safely line the southbound lane of traffic for optimum viewing. North bound lanes will NOT be closed during the parade.

Greta Pope and her trio will perform the Holiday Edition of the Great American Songbook with holiday favorites. Decorate your boat and join this annual parade, or find a place along the Homosassa River to hang out and watch it. There's no competition, rules or prizes; boat participants show their Christmas and community spirit to the reward of the laughter and applause of the crowd! The number one rule of the parade: The Homosassa Springs Marina will lead off the parade in the 'Santa Sleigh,' and anyone who wants to participate is welcome to fall in behind the lead boat and follow up river. The boats will swing by each of the restaurants along the Homosassa River and pirouette in front of them so the crowd can enjoy viewing the boats. The boats will muster at Bird Island at dusk and start the parade at dark. VIEWING LOCATIONS: The boats will pass by the following viewig locations: MacRae’s of Homosassa (5300 S. Cherokee Way). K.C. Crump on the River (11210 W. Halls River Rd.), Florida Cracker Riverside Resort (5297 S. Cherokee Way), Homosassa Springs Marina (10806 W. Halls River Rd.), Seagrass Waterfront restaurant (10386 W. Presented by the Citrus County Chamber of Commerce. The theme is Christmas in Toyland. The parade will begin on S. Montgomery Ave. and travel north to the 900 block of SR 44 (W. Main St.) near Pizza Hut and travel east toward the downtown area and turn right (south) onto Martin Luther King Jr. Ave., then head west on Highland Boulevard and end at Citrus High School (CHS), located at 600 W. Highland Blvd. Both lanes of traffic will be closed for the parade, and parade goers are encouraged to safely use both sides of the parade route.

The theme is ELVIS, due to 2021 being the 60th anniversary of the filming of the Elvis Movie, Follow that Dream, with most of the scenes being filmed in Yankeetown. The parade will start about 4:00 pm and proceed west down Follow That Dream Parkway (County Road 40 West) from the Withlacoochee Gulf Area Chamber Chamber of Commerce (67 Hwy 40 West in Inglis) to Riverside Dr. where it will turn left (across from Community Church, 4640 Hwy 40 West in Yankeetown) and proceed west down Riverside Dr. to the Yankeetown Town Hall Pavilion, located at 6241 Harmony Ln. in Yankeetown, where there will be a celebration with live music, food and bererages and photos with Santa!

The 8th annual Homosassa Christmas Golf Cart Parade will be held on Saturday, December 18, at 6:00 pm. Participants will meet at 5:00 pm at the parking lots of the Old Mill Tavern, located at 10465 W. Yulee Dr. and the Museum Cafe, located at 10466 W. Yulee Dr., and the parade will start at 6:00 pm. The parade can be viewed from local businesses and residences along the parade route. PARADE ROUTE: The parade will start a the Old Mill Tavern and Museum Cafe, and travel west down W. Yulee Dr. (CR 490) to the Florida Cracker Monkey Bar (5297 S. Cherokee Way) to The Shed/MacRae's of Homosassa (5300 S. Cherokee Way), then south onto S. Boulevard Dr. to Shelly's Seafood & Fish Market (5380 S. Boulevard Dr.) to The Freezer Tiki Bar (5590 S. Boulevard Dr.), and the parade will then reverse its direction taking the same route, in reverse, back to the Old Mill Tavern on W. Yulee Dr.

The festivities will begin with the parade, which will begin at the Fountain Welcome Park at State Road 41 and North Citrus Springs Blvd. and travel east to Wesley Jones Park, located at 2510 W. Castania Dr., where there will be family fun after the parade, with food, games, music, a bounce house, prizes, and more. The winners of the parade and the house decorating contest will be announced at the park during the fesitivites.
