At the single traffic light on U.S. Highway 19 in Inglis, Florida, turn west onto Highway 40 (Follow That Dream Parkway) and travel 3.5 miles west to Riverside Drive (on left).
ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
On the tree-lined boulevard of Riverside Drive in Yankeetown, an old Florida coastal village on Florida’s Nature Coast, the Yankeetown Seafood Festival a two day festival celebrating the fishing heritage of the coastal community, has been held each year, for the past 40 years, on the weekend before Thanksgiving, organized and run by the Inglis Yankeetown Lions Club. The Festival features Food, Entertainment, Arts, Crafts, and an interesting variety of merchandise. Festival music is provided by the Blackwater Restaurant and Lions Club, featuring local talent in two locations during the festival. This year, we're celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Elvis Presley movie, "Follow That Dream," filmed in Yankeetown, Inverness and Crystal River, Florida, with a Live Elvis Tribute both days!

The Yankeetown Seafood Festival takes place annually - always held on the weekend before Thanksgiving - in the quaint, “old Florida” town of Yankeetown, located on the banks of the Lower Withlacoochee River, just three miles east of the Gulf of Mexico. Plan to visit us - you’ll be glad you did!

The Inglis-Yankeetown Lions Club has hosted the Festival for forty years. All net profits from the Festival go to support charitable causes through our 501c(3) Foundation supporting local, state, national and international, projects in that order.
