Drum Circle is BACK - April 11, 6:00 pm, Fort Island Gulf Beach, Crystal River!
Citrus County Drummers will be starting back after a year's absence due to the Covid 19 pandemic. Our Second Sunday Sunset Drum Circle will resume on Sunday, April 11, 6:00 pm, at Ft. Island Beach, located at 16000 W Fort Island Trail in Crystal River, Florida.
We obtained our permit, a week or so ago, for this drum circle, so we are legit with the county. The drum circle will last approximately two hours, as usual. The county closes the park at dark, so we need to be out of there by then or shortly thereafter. We respect and follow the county's rules in order to be able to keep our venue at Ft. Island Beach, in Crystal River - which we almost lost, a few years ago!
Please keep in mind the following county requirements:
•The county does NOT allow dogs, alcohol or fires on the beach.
•The beach closes at sunset.
Citrus County Drummers requests:
•Drum Circle is CANCELED if it is raining at the beach, so check the weather before you head out for the beach!
•Smoking is ALLOWED outside and downwind of the circle.
•Please practice social distancing. Wear masks if you can’t maintain a 6-feet distance from others.
•The Circle is NOT the place to discuss politics.
•We will NOT be sharing percussion instruments.
•The Pandemic is not quite over yet, so PLEASE respect our group and attendees by being SAFE.
