Floral City Strawberry Festival offering berry good fun, March 6 & 7
34th annual Floral City Strawberry Festival will be held on Saturday and Sunday, March 6 and 7, 9:00 am-5:00 pm on Saturday, and 9:00 am-4:00 pm on Sunday. The entry fee is $5 for ages 13 and older, and free to ages 12 and younger. For details of the festival and all its events, please visit www.gostrawberryfest.com.
Attendees will be able to park, free of charge, at the Citrus County Auditorium, located at 3610 S Florida Ave. in Inverness, FL, and take a shuttle to the Festival location, Floral Park, located at 9530 S. Parkside Ave., in Floral City.
Strawberry shortcakes will be available for purchase, along with flats and half-flats of whole fresh strawberries. About 200 art and craft vendors will be on site, with a beer garden near the main stage, and a Kids Zone with fun activities. Tiny the Tanker, a tiny electric fire truck with a personality all his own is new this year. Pickin’ & Grinnin' will present toe-tappin’ dance music and knee-slappin’ family-friendly farm jokes. There will be strawberry pic-eating contests each day and Strawberry Prince and Princess pageants each day (start at 9:00 am on Sat.).

2:00-5:00 pm: X Hale, high energy current, modern and classic, country and rock music
Sunday Music
10:00 am-12:00 pm: John Johnson, outlaw, classic and traditinal country and southern rock music
