*** Michael Bradley Ainsworth, 29, of Morriston, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, Jan. 29, charged with battery ($2,500 bond). The victim told a deputy, that during an argument at a SE 117th Ave., Morriston residence, Mr. Ainsworth struck her, several times, to her legs and shin areas, and also bit her left arm. The deputy reported that the victim had bruises to her thighs and a mouth-shaped bruise to her arm, and that Mr. Anisworth denied that he'd bitten or struck the victim, claiming that any marks on the victim's body were from rough sex.
Danielle Lynn Burgess, 28, of Bronson, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, Jan. 26, charged with battery ($5,000 bond).
*** Joshua Elam, 40, of Williston, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, Jan. 29, during a traffic stop of a black Toyota car, conducted due to an expired license tag at U.S. Hwy.27 Alternate at CR 335-A in Williston. Mr. Elam, a back seat passenger, had three arrest warrants and pulled away from deputies and also resisted entering the patrol vehicle upon his arrest, according to the arrest report, He was arrested on the warrants, which included possession of a weapon or ammunition by a convicted felon, and 2 counts of grand theft of $300 or more, but less than $5,000. He was additionally charged with resisting an officer without violence. His combined bonds were set at $165,000.
