George Zachary ("Zack") Risher, 30, of Inglis, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, August 25, 2025, on an warrant charging him with armed burglary of a dwelling. He was additionally charged with resisting or obstructing an officer without violence ($77,500 combined bond).
During an investigation into the burglary of an Inglis residence, detectives with the Levy County Sheriff's Office developed probable cause that Risher was responsible for the burglary. Based on the burglary investigation, an arrest warrant was obtained for Risher's arrest.
On August 25, 2025, Levy County Sheriff's Office deputies spotted Risher, riding a bicycle in Inglis. When Risher was approached by deputies, instead of stopping, he abandoned the bicycle and took off running. After a brief foot chase, Deputy Landon Kennedy caught up to Risher, placed him under arrest, and transported him to the Levy County Detention Bureau.

He was also charged with withholding support of a child, children, or spouse ($470 cash only bond).
