Beverly Hills, Florida - At 7:13 a.m. on Sunday, August 17, 2025, Citrus County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) deputies were at the scene of a shooting that occurred near W. Lemon St. and N. Melbourne St. in Beverly Hills. At the time, the suspect was in custody. Details will be posted when available.

UPDATE on August 18, 2025:  According to CCSO Community Relations Specialist Sydney Hudson, no arrest has been made in this case, and the Fifth Judicial Circuit State Attorney's Office is investigating if there are any potential charges in this case.
