UPDATED: Lewis Steven Churchville, 38, of Inglis, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, May 5, 2025, on a Levy County warrant charging him with battery, a repeat offense ($250,000 bond); false imprisonment of an adult or a child under the age of 13 ($250,000 bond) and domestic battery by strangulation (no bond). The arresting deputy reported, that after the deputy advised Churchville of the charges against him, Churchfield stated, that he and the victim had gotten into an argument, during which he'd "struck her with a flashlight" in self-defense, and this was recorded by the deputy's in-car camera system.

Katesia Cobb, 45, of Morriston, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, May 6, 2025, charged with neglect of a child with great bodily harm ($1,000 bond).

Joshua Gaines, II, 36, of Chiefland, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, May 9, 2025, on an out of county warrant (no bond).

Tymetric Hemphill, 43, of Williston, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, May 6, 2025, charged with driving while license suspended, second offense (bond set at credit for time served).

UPDATED: Mitch Alan Kimble, 34, of Lecanto, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office (LCSO), May 11, 2025, charged with aggravated battery using a deadly weapon, and criminal mischief with damages greater than $200 but less than $1,000 (no bond).
       According to the arrest report, a deputy arrived at a location on SE County Road 337 in Morriston, FL due to an altercation, and learned that the suspect, later identified as Kimble, had left the location in a vehicle.
       The deputy reported that the victim was bleeding from his nostrils, and the area around his right eye was red and swollen. However, the victim declined to be evaluated by EMS. He told the deputy that he'd gotten into a fight with Kimble, who at one point had thrown bricks. He said he believed that one of the bricks had hit his face and the second one had been thrown into the windshield of his vehicle. The deputy reported that the vehicle's windshield had extensive damage, and the victim estimated the cost to repair the damage at approximately $600.
       A witness told the deputy, that when Kimble arrived at the residence, the victim made a comment to Kimble, and they began fighting. She said they fought for several minutes before separating, with the victim walking to his vehicle. She said that Kimble, who was sill angry, threw bricks, and that one brick had struck the victim's back, because he'd ducked to avoid getting hit in his face, and one brick was thrown into the windshield of the victim's car.
       Other people at the location claimed that they had not seen the altercation.
       Kimble was located by other LCSO deputies and placed under arrest while he was driving to his residence in Citrus County, FL.

James Charles McDonald, 33, of Bronson, FL, was arrested by the Florida Highway Patrol, May 9, 2025, charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, and driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs with damage to property ($1,000 bond).

Ricky McDowell, 62, of Chiefland, FL, was arrested by the Chiefland (Florida) Police Department, May 10, 2025, charged with driving while license suspended, first offense ($150 bond).

Konnor Gage Mills, 19, of Bronson, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, May 9, 2025, charged with lewd or lascivious behavior by an offender 18 years of age or older toward a victim 12 years of age or older but younger than 16 years of age ($100,000 bond) and lewd or lascivious behavior by an offender 18 years of age or older of a victim less than 16 years of age ($30,000 bond).
