UPDATED: Valerie Robinson, age 67, of Inglis, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office (LCSO), April 17, 2025, charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill ($10,000 bond).
       At 3:22 pm, a LCSO deputy was dispatched to an Inglis residence, due to the report of a woman wielding a hunting knife during an argument.
       A deputy arrived at the location to hear the victim telling Robinson to put the knife down, and Robinson telling the victim to put the phone down because he/she would not be talking with anyone. The deputy told Robinson to put the knife down, and she complied.
       The deputy reported that Robinson and the victim were approximately 18 to 20 feet apart, separated by a wire fence and gate, and when he ordered Robinson to come outside of the gate, she demanded to see his sheriff's office identification. The deputy reported, that when he showed his identification to Robinson, she claimed it was fake, and she then picked up the knife and threw it toward the victim, causing the victim to jump out of the way to avoid the knife striking the victim's left calf.
       The deputy reported that he charged through the gate, to confirm that the victim was unharmed and to take Robinson into custody.

Mikal Luis Rodriguez, age 31, of Citrus Springs, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, April 14, 2025, charged with two out of county warrants, with one bond set at none and one set at $1,000.

Maycol Jose Rojas Castillo, age 36, of Bell, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, April 19, 2025, charged with operating a motor vehicle without a valid license (no bond).

Joshua Shankland, age 35, of Esther, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, April 14, 2025, on an out of county warrant (no bond).
