NC fugitive, wanted for bomb threats and possession of obscene materials, arrested in Williston, FL

Bronson, Florida - Late Friday afternoon, March 14, 2025, 53 year-old Charles A. Parris of Williston, Florida, a fugitive from North Carolina, was arrested by detectives with the Levy County Sheriff’s Office and members of the United States Marshals Fugitive Task Force.
Parris was wanted in North Carolina on arrest warrants related to bomb threats targeting Lowe's and Walmart stores. Warrants had also been issued for Parris for possession of obscene materials, stemming from a different investigation in North Carolina.
Parris was transported to the Levy County Detention Bureau in Bronson, Florida where he is being held with no bond, pending his extradition to North Carolina.
