Three arrested in Beverly Hills, FL as result of narcotics search warrant

Citrus County, Florida - During the early morning hours of Wednesday, October 18, 2023, the Citrus County Sheriff's Office (CCSO) Tactical Impact Unit and Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) Team executed a search warrant at a residence located at 208 S. Harrison Street, in Beverly Hills, Florida, which resulted in the arrest of three people: Jose Valentine Alamo, Jr.. 29; James Ray Forrest, 37; and Brandi-Lyn Bracken, 34, who were all transported to the Citrus County Detention Facility in Lecanto, Florida.

According to a press release, the agancy's Tactical Impact Unit (TIU) received information that Alamo was selling illegal narcotics within Citrus County. During an investigation, detectives determined that Alamo was dealing illicit substances in Beverly Hills. Probable cause was established to search his residence, and a search warrant was obtained.  

During the search, deputies located numerous bags of methamphetamine and fentanyl, along with drug paraphernalia and ammunition.

Alamo, a three-time convicted felon, was charged with trafficking in methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia, with his bond set at $26,000.

Forrest, also a three-time convicted felon, was charged with possession of ammunition by a felon, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia, with his bond set at $13,000.

Bracken was charged with possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia, with her bond set at $3,000.

"Thanks to the efforts of our Tactical Impact Unit and SWAT Team, three drug offenders have been removed from our streets," said Citrus County Sheriff Mike Prendergast. "This type of illegal activity puts everyone in danger and will never have a favorable outcome. Drug dealers have no place in Citrus County, and we will continue to fight illicit drug activity in our community at every given opportunity."
