Michael Bradley Ainsworth, 31, of Morriston, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, July 22, charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, driving with a suspended or revoked license - a repeat offense, resisting or obstructing an officer without violence, and impersonating another person or giving false identification to a law enforcement officer ($65,000 bond).

Christian Alfonso, 21, of Bronson, FL, was arrested by the Alachua County (Florida) Sheriff's Office, July 18, charged with probation violation (no bond).

Joseph Lee Baxman, 52, of Cedar Key, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, July 21, charged with two counts of withholding support of a child or spouse, with cash only bonds of $170 and $570.

Gerald Browning, 42, of Trenton, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, July 17, charged with possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, and possession of drug equipment ($12,500 bond).

John Howard Chastain, Jr., 34, of Morriston, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, July 21, charged with battery - a repeat offense, resisting an officer with violence, and trafficking in 4 grams or more but less than 30 kiligrams of opium or an opium derivative ($160,000 bond).

Michael C. Coxon, 44, of Bronson, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, July 19, charged with two counts of probation violation (no bond).

Marshall James Dimick, 55, of Cedar Key, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, July 20, charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill, domestic battery by strangulation, and four counts of possession of a weapon or ammunition by a convicted Florida felon ($400,000 bond). According to the LCSO, the victim, and a friend of the victim, told deputies that the victim had gotten into an argument with Dimick, during which he'd dunked her head into a vat of a tarlike substance used to treat clam and oyster bags, pointed a shotgun at her, and choked her to near unconsciousness. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of chemical burns to her face and arms. Dimick, a convicted felon, is prohibited from possessing a firearm. Deputies learned, that prior to their arrival at Dimick's home in the Rosewood area of Cedar Key, he'd removed several firearms from his home. Deputies located the firearms on a neighboring property.

Wilfrido Escobar Martin, 33, of Atlanta, GA, was arrested by an unspecified agency, July 21, charged with operating a motor vehicle without a valid license ($10,000 bond).

Justin Michael Fairbanks, 42, of Ocala, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, July 22, charged with withholding support of a child or spouse, with a cash only bond of $1,870.

UPDATED: Two people were arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, July 19, as the result of a traffic stop: Jamie Lynn Fordham, 27, of Archer, FL, and Philip William Roberts, 57, of Gainesville, FL. During the traffic stop, both were placed under arrest and transported to the Levy County Detention Bureau.
Roberts, the driver, was found to be in possession of cocaine and methamphetamine. Also, his driver's license had been suspended. Roberts was charged with driving while license knowingly suspended, possession of cocaine, possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, and possession of drug equipment ($25,000 bond). He was also arrested on an out of county warrant ($5,000 bond).
Fordham was accused of attempting to conceal drugs and needles inside the vehicle, as they were being stopped, at the request of Roberts. On the jail's surveillance video, Fordham was seen behaving in an abnormal manner, exhibitiong symptoms of a person high on narcotics. Jail officers saw a small white packet fall to the ground that Fordham quickly picked up and consumed. An investigation revealed that she'd smuffled fentanyl into the jail. Fordham was charged with tampering with physical evidence (release on her own recognizance bond); and smuggling a controlled substance into a detention facility ($15,000 bond).

Ian Renard Gardner, 57, of Chiefland, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, July 20, charged with keeping a public nuisance structure for the purpose of drug activity, cruelty toward or abuse of a child without great bodily harm, possession of cocaine with intent to sell or deliver within 1,000 feet of a place of worship or business, 4 counts of sale of cocaine within 1,000 feet of a place of worship or business, delivering or distributing methaqualone within 1,000 feet of a place of worship or business, and possession of drug equipment ($242,000 bond).

Iandya Gardner, 20, of Chiefland, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, July 20, charged with failure to appear in court ($2,000 bond).

Edward Hinds, 29, of Williston, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, July 22, charged with probation violation ($5,000 bond).

Gavin B. Jenkins, 20, of Lake Mary, FL, was arrested by the Chiefland (Florida) Police Department, July 17, charged with fleeing from or eluding a law enforcement officer or failing to obey a law enforcement officer's order to stop, and driving with a suspended or revoked license ($12,000 bond).

Edward A. Jones, 51, of Chiefland, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, July 17, charged with battery, and cruelty toward or abuse of a child without great bodily harm ($7,500 bond).

John William Keithley, 39, of Bronson, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, July 23, on an out of county warrant (no bond).

Rodger Dale Kemp, 36, of Morriston, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, July 20, on an out of county warrant, with a cash bond of $2,792, and another out of county warrant, with a regular bond of $2,500.

Wayne James Knous, 50, of Chiefland, FL, was arrested by the Florida Highway Patrol, July 22, charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, a third violation ($30,000 bond).

John Michael Marshall, 50, of Chiefland, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, July 18, charged with possession of a weapon or ammunition by a convicted U.S. felon, possession of a weapon or ammunition in violation of a final injunction involving stalking or cyberstalking, criminal mischief with damage to property greater than $200 but less than $1,000, unarmed burglary of an occupied dwelling, and first degree petit theft of $100 or more but less than $300 ($350,000 bond).

Vaughn Judge Quinn, III, 25, of Cedar Key, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, July 22, charged with aggravated battery ($10,000 bond).

April Marie Salley, 48, of Chiefland, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, July 17, charged with possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, possession of drug equipment, and impersonating another person or giving false identification to a law enforcement officer ($8,000 bond).

Garrett Lee Schneeberger, 23, of Williston, FL, was arrested by the Williston Police Department, July 20, charged with armed burglary of a dwelling, structure or conveyance; larceny of $20,000 or more but less than $100,000, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor - causing them to become delinquent, dependent or needy ($127,500 bond).

Penny Elaine Scott, 59, of Trenton, FL, was arrested by the Gilchrist County (Florida) Sheriff's Office, July 21, to be held at the Levy County Detention Bureau for another agency (no bond).
