Two felons arrested in Hernando, FL as the result of a drug search warrant

Hernando (Citrus County), Florida - On Friday, August 26, 2022, detectives with the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, Tactical Impact Unit (TIU) arrested Joseph Singh, II , 42, and Michael Guinan, Jr., 35, as the result of a search warrant being served at a residence located at 6959 N. Charles Terrace in Hernando, as the result of an investigation into ongoing sales of narcotics at the residence.
During the search, detectives located various narcotics, items of drug paraphernalia, eighteen firearms, three of which had been stolen, hundreds of rounds of ammunition, body-armor, four silencers, and an unspecified explosive device, along with roughly $5,600 in cash from illegal drug activity, according to a CCSO news release.
Mr. Singh, a ten time convicted felon and a previous target from the CCSO's Operation Deck the Cells, who is currently out on jail on bond for sales of fentanyl, was acharged with trafficking in methamphetamine, possession of heroin with intent to sell, ten counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon; maintaining a drug dwelling, possession of a destructive device, two counts of grand theft, two counts of grand theft of a firearm, possession of a controlled substance (xanax), possession of a bullet proof vest in the commission of a felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia ($173,000 bond).
Guinan, a five time convicted felon, was charged with possession of suboxone with intent to sell, possession of cannabis with intent to sell, six counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and grand theft of a firearm ($80,000 bond).
"I've said it before," said Citrus County Sheriff Mike Prendergast, "Drug dealers have no regard for the law, and they have no regard for the life of others. The professionals that work in our TIU, supported by our outstanding patrol deputies, are committed to protecting the residents of our great county. Today's seizure and arrests demonstrate our unwavering effort in stopping the flow of deadly drugs in our community.
