Man killed in Sept. 18 shooting at The Loft Bar & Grill, Crystal River, FL, identified

UPDATE:  According to Alexandria Perkins, Community Relations Specialist with the CCSO, the person shot at The Loft Bar and Grill on Sept. 18 is Dorrian Jackson, 25, of Crystal River.  Mr. Jackson was transported by Nature Coast EMS to Bayfront Health Seven Rivers hospital in Crystal River, FL where he was later pronounced deceased.

Shortly after 2:00 am, Saturday morning, Sept. 18, deputies with the Citrus County Sheriff's Office responded to The Loft Bar and Grill, located at 10131 N. Citrus Ave. in Crystal River, FL, after receiving calls for service. One person was reported as injured. He was transported to an area hospital for treatment, but was later pronounced deceased. 

Detectives with the Major Crimes Unit are investigating this incident. The agency's public information office declined to release further information. According to unsubstantiated reports, however, the incident was a shooting, and the deceased person is a male.
