Jenna Leigh Kemper, 19, of Inverness, FL, was charged with domestic battery (no bond).

Roger Lee Powelson, 51, of Floral City, FL, was arrested on a warrant for aggravated battery using a deadly weapon (no bond).

Tina Marie Martin, 47, of Lecanto, FL, was charged with three counts of illegal possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia ($7,000 bond). During a traffic stop conducted at S. Lecanto Hwy. and W. Educational Path in Lecanto due to a vehicle having an expired tag and dark tinted windows, deputies found inside Ms. Martin's purse: 1 gram of methamphetamine, 3 suboxone 8 mg/2 mg strips and 1 hydromorphone 8 mg. pill, along with a contact lens case that the methamphetamine was stored in.

Krystina Marie Marcalo, 30, of Hernando, FL, was arrested on three warrants for violation of felony probation.

Charles Jacob Turner, 27, of Hernando, FL, was arrested on a Citrus County, FL warrant for failure to appear in court on a misdemeanor charge of driving while license suspended or  revoked, a subsequent offense, with his bond set at none. He was transported from the Marion County Jail in Ocala, FL to the Citrus County Detention Facility in Lecanto, FL.

Julia Elizabeth Germain, 56, of Crystal River, FL, was arrested at 6201 N. Suncoast Blvd. in Crystal River (Bayfront Health Seven Rivers hospital) on a Manatee County, FL warrant for theft of a motor vehicle ($1,500 bond).

Matthew James Day, 28, of Homosassa, FL, was charged with driving while license suspended or revoked as an habitual traffic offender ($2,000 bond). Mr. Day, the driver of a blue Saturn passenger car, was arrested during a traffic stop conducted in Hernando, FL, due to  the vehicle crossing the center line several times. The report stated that his driver's license is invalid, with previous convictions for driver's license infractions on Nov. 6, 2014, Jan 15, 2015, and Oct. 10, 2017, and he was labeled as an habitual offender on Oct. 26, 2017.

Brian Hue Harrod, 52, of Crystal River, FL, was charged with grand theft of $5,000 or more, but less than $10,000 ($1,500 bond).

Samantha Mae Derouin, 31, of Crystal River, FL, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court on a misdemeanor charge (no bond).

Dante Anton Alexander, 33, of Beverly Hills, FL, was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill ($2,000 bond). Mr. Alexander is accused of getting into an argument with the victim and then getting a firearm out of his trunk, pointing it at the victim while threatening his life, while at the Sunoco gas station, located at 1211 S. Forida Ave. in Hernando, FL. The victim's account of the incident was corroborated by a witness. Mr. Alexander eventually admitted that he argued with the victim, the report stated, but he denied that he'd pointed a firearm at him. The arresting deputy reported that he located a black paintball gun inside the trunk of Mr. Alexander's vehicle.

Jeffrey Aaron Carey, 42, of Homosassa, FL, was charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, manufacture or deliver; and possession of drug paraphernalia ($3,000 bond).

Edward William Lutz, Jr., 25, of Bushnell, FL, was charged with operating a motor vehicle without a valide driver's license and possession of drug paraphernalia ($1,500 bond).    

Michael Neil Samples, 33, who is listed as homeless in an unstated location and was already in custody at the Citrus County Detention Facility, was arrested as a fugitive from justice on a Bryan County, GA warrant for possession of a firearm (no bond).

Juston Martin Boswell, 35, of Crystal River, FL, was arrested during a traffic stop conducted a W. Dunnellon Rd. and N. Ira Martin Ave. in Crystal River, on a Citrus County, FL warrant for violation of felony probation (probation for possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, manufacture or deliver; and unlawful use of a two-way communication device) with his bond set at none.

Girard David Parmenter, Jr., 24, of Crystal River, FL, was charged with grand theft of $750 or more, but less than $5,000 ($2,000 bond).

Ashley Lynn Edmonds, 30, of Homosassa, FL, was arrested at W. Oak Park Blvd. and S. Breen Ter., in Homosassa, on a Hernando County, FL warrant for grand theft of $750 or more, but less than $5,000 ($10,000 bond).

Colleen Jaqueline Mahoney, 36, of Homosassa, FL, was issued a notice to appear in court citation for retail petit theft of less than $100. She's accused of failing to scan and pay for a baby carrier, a box of diapers and two bags of candy, with a combined value of $87.26, when scanning and paying for other items at the Walmart store located at 1936 W. Lecanto Hwy. in Lecanto, FL.

Michael Leroy Wenger, 50, of Dunnellon, FL, was charged with disorderly public intoxication ($500 bond). Mr. Wenger is accused of causing a disturbance on W. Waldron Court in Dunnellon, during which he allegedly yelled at garbage cans, then yelled at neighbors when they asked him to keep the yelling down, and then blocked the roadway and a driveway with his vehicle, refusing to move it. A deputy reported that Mr. Wenger smelled of alcohol and showed signs of being intoxicated although he denied having used alcohol of drugs, that he was more interested in listening to music with his headphones than he was in speaking with the deputy, and enroute to the Citrus County Detention Facility he allegedly cursed, yelled, laughed and made noises then the deputy attempted to answer his questions.

Arthur Duane Van Dyke, 49, of Inverness, FL, was charged wih familial or custodial sexual battery of a person under the age of 18, a capital felony ($10,000 bond).

Jonathan Charles Buckingham, 35, of Inverness, FL, was charged with trespassing after warning ($1,000 bond).

James Robert Bennis, Jr., 43, of Dunnellon, FL, who was already incarcerated at the Citrus County Detention Facility, was arrested on a Pasco County, FL warrant for trafficking in stolen property and burglary ($50,013 bond).

Ray Mark Wightman, 41, of Dunnellon, FL, was charged with driving under the influence ($1,000 bond). The arrest was made during a traffic stop conducted near the intersection of N. Rousseau Dr. and W. Dunnellon Rd. in Dunnellon, due to the vehicle traveling 76 mph in a 50 mph speed  zone. The report stated that Mr. Wightman, the driver, smelled of alcohol, had slurred speech and told the deputy he'd consumed too much alcohol prior to driving. He performed poorly on roadside sobriety testing, the report stated, but the breath alcohol testing (intoxilyzer test) had gone offline, and the test could not be conducted.

Joshua L. Fitzwater, 36, of Homosassa, FL, was issued a notice to appear in court citation, charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. The report stated, that during a traffic stop of a sports utility vehicle on W. Cardinal St. in Homosassa due to the vehicle having no operable tag lights, Mr. Fitzwater, a passenger inside the vehicle, was found to be in possession of a small jar that contained methamphetamine residue, located inside his backpack.

Teresa Mae Cochrane, 48, of Dunnellon, FL, was arrested at her residence on a Citrus County, FL warrant for failure to appear in court on a felony charge of driving while license suspended or revoked (no bond).

Barbra Saager Munz, 70, of Dade City, FL, was charged with driving under the influence ($1,000 bond).

Todd Robert Patterson, 42, of Lecanto, FL, was charged with driving while license knowingly suspended or revoked, third offense; and possession of drug paraphernalia ($2,000 bond).

Lynn Ann Shirk, 52, of Floral City, FL, and Anthony Paul Hlavaty, 45, of Crystal River, FL, were arrested in Floral City, when a deputy was dispatched to a wooded area off the bike trail near the 7100 block of S. Florida Ave., due to a report of a possible drug overdose. The deputy found the two sitting in the wooded area, asleep, and when the deputy awakened them, they were both alert and oriented the report stated, although the pupils of Ms. Shirk's eyes were "pin pricks" (very small). Both declined medical care, and Ms. Shirk told the deputy that she was not overdosing, the report stated. Ms. Shirk was found to be in possession of two syringes and a smoking pipe that tested positive for methamphetamine, so she was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia ($1,000 bond) and Mr. Hlavaty was arrested on a Citrus County warrant for violation of felony probation (probation for possession of drug paraphernalia) with his bond set at none.

Brent Austin Curry, 25, of St. Petersburg, FL, was charged with battery of a detention or commitment facility staff member or juvenile probation officer ($2,000 bond).

Thomas Leonard Westmoreland, III, 30, of Inverness, FL, was charged with failure to appear in court on a felony charge. He was also arrested on a warrant for driving while license suspended or revoked as an habitual offender, fleeing from a law enforceent officer in pursuit while speeding and disregarding safety, possession of burglary tools, and burglary of an unoccupied structure ($11,000 bond).

Stephen Robert Dampier, 26, of Inverness, FL, and Faith Laura Rogers, 23, of Hernando, FL, were each charged, at 5:26 pm, with retail petit theft of $100 or less, with their bonds set at $500 each.

Daniel Delbert Dewane Williams, 35, of Beverly Hills, FL, who was already in custody at the Citrus County Detention Facility, was arrested on a Marion County, FL warrant for violation of misdemeanor probation (probation for petit theft) with his bond set at none.

Matthew Ryan McGehee, 22, of Bronson, FL, who was already in custody at the Citrus County Detention Facility, was arrested on a Marion County, FL warrant for failure to appear in court on a misdemeanor charge of petit theft (no bond).

John William Surber, 47, of Homosassa, FL, was arrested during a traffic stop at S. Lecanto Hwy. and W. Woodland Ridge Dr. in Lecanto, FL, on a Citrus County warrant for grand theft of $750 or more, but less than $5,000; giving false identification or false verification of ownership to a secondary metals recycler, trafficking or endeavoring to traffic in stolen property, and burglary of an unoccupied residence ($19,000 bond). Upon his arrest, Mr. Surber was found to be in possession of an unspecified amount of methamphetamine inside a clear plastic bag found in a pants pocket, and he was additionally charged with possession of methamphetamine ($2,000 bond).

Logan Alan Foster, 22, of Hernando, FL, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and operating a vehicle without a valid driver's license ($2,500 bond).

Daniel Garrett Stokes, 38, of Homosassa, FL, was arrested at the Citrus County Detention Facility on a Monroe County, FL warrant for sale of oxycodone and unlawful use of a two-way communication device (no bond).

Joshua Dwayne Franklin, 37, of Homosassa, FL, was charged with illegal possession of a controlled substance and trespassing ($3,000 bond).

Lester L. Bouie, Jr., 41, of Inverness, FL, was charged with felony domestic battery by strangulation (no bond). At 1:51 am, deputies were dispatched to an Inverness apartment, with the complaint that Mr. Bouie had battered and choked his female roommate of seven years. The victim told deputies that the incident began in Orlando, FL, earlier in the day, because she'd left their motel room to get her car battery charged, and it had taken so long that Mr. Bouie was upset because he felt she'd seen someone else. The report stated that the Orlando Police Department had been contacted and had documented the incident. The victim stated they'd driven from Orlando to Inverness, and she'd immediately gone to bed, and Mr. Bouie had jumped on her, punched and kicked her approximately 15 times, choked her, and had then driven off in her vehicle, which she's given him permission to drive in the past. A deputy reported there was blood on the side of the bed, the wall and the floor, and the victim had a bruise above her left eye, blood running down her face to her mouth, and a bruise to the back of her head, which was not visable due to her hair, but no fingerprints were visable to her neck, which she said was sore, causing discomfort in swallowing, and also that she was having difficulty breathing. At 9:43 am, Mr. Bouie was taken into custody at a different location during an unrelated incident, the report stated, and he denied any physical confrontation with the victim.

Danita Marie Jones, 37, of Homosassa, FL, was arrested on a writ of bodily attachment ($1,678 bond).

Ida Mae Covert, 40, of Homosassa, FL, was charged with trespassing in an unoccupied structure or conveyance ($1,000 bond).

Aaron Michael Kyle, 41, of Homosassa, FL, was charged with illegal possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia ($3,000 bond). During a traffic stop conducted in Homosassa due to a vehicle not coming to a complete stop at the stop sign located at S. Breen Ter. and W. Oak Park Blvd., Mr. Kyle, the driver, was found to be in possession of 1.06 grams of fentanyl and seven syringes, one of which tested positive for heroin. The report stated, that during a pat down, a needle cap fell to the ground and a deputy located two syringes, one uncapped with the needle pointing upward, in Mr. Kyle's right pants pocket. 

Hunter Edwin Oley, 21, of Spring Hill, FL, was charged with battery of a detention or commitment facility staff member or juvenile probation officer ($2,000  bond).

Tony Ray Jacobs, 54, of Hernando, FL, was arrested at the Burger Station, located at 2700 N. Florida Ave. in Hernando, on a Citrus County, FL warrant for violation of felony probation (probation for dealing in stolen property and falsifying ownership of property to a pawnbroker) with his bond set at none.

Melisa Ann Strong, 39, of Inverness, FL, was arrested on a warrant fo violation of felony probation (no bond).

Kimberly Michelle Miller, 41, of Inverness, FL, was charged with retail petit theft of $100 or less. 

Anna Marie Strait, 24, of Lecanto, FL, was charged with criminal mischief of $200 or less and burglary of an unoccupied structure ($5,500 bond). The report stated that Ms. Strait had been trespassed from a Hernando, FL property on June 24, 2021, and on Sept. 14, she returned to the property and broke the double-door latch of a locked shed on the property and drove her tan four-door vehicle into a fence separating the property in question with a neighoring property, damaging the fence. The report stated that the victim, who lives at the property, witnessed the incident and recognized Ms. Strait because she had previously been in a relationship with a relative of the victim.

Emory Leon Odom, 53, of Dunnellon, FL, was arrested on a Marion County, FL pickup oder to revoke bond on a charge of dealing in stolen property (no bond) and a warrant for failure to appear in court on a charge of dealing in stolen property (no bond). He was also arrested on a Citrus County, FL warrant for failure to appear in court on charges of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and possession of drug paraphernalia (no bond).

William Andy Clay Huggins, 31, of Homosassa, FL, was arrested on a writ of bodily attachment ($1,178 bond). He was also charged with resisting an officer without violence ($1,000 bond).

Ronald James Baltrush, 60, of Inverness, FL, was charged with grand theft of $750 or more, but less than $5,000; trafficking in stolen property, and giving false verification or ownership or false identification to a secondary metals recycler of property valued at less than $300 ($22,000 bond). About a month previous to Sept. 14, Mr. Baltrush is accused of taking, aluminum ramps and siding that was to be used by the Citrus County Veterans Coalition, Inc. to construct a wheelchair ramp for veterans staying at the Mission in Citrus Inc. Shelter, located at 306 S. Park Ave. in Inverness. The report stated, that when a member of the vererans coalition arrived at the shelter to construct the ramp on Sept. 14, the materials were missing. One of the residents told a deputy that he saw Mr. Baltrush and another suspect, Alan Lemay, loading the materials into Baltrush's van, about a month previously, but he didn't know what happened to the materials. An employee of Crystal River Metal Recycling, located at 4320 W Gulf to Lake Hwy. in Lecanto, FL, told a deputy that Mr. Baltrush had scrapped aluminum material that matched the description of the stolen materials on two occasions: Aug. 12, 2021 for $93.48 and on Aug. 16, 2021 for $88; he said that Mr. Baltrush had provided Florida photo identification and a thumbprint when he conducted the two transactions.

Donnie Lee Cagle, 30, of Frostproof, FL, was arrested on a Citrus County, FL warrant for violation of felony probation (probation for aggravated assault with a weapon) with his bond set at none. He was transported from the Polk County Jail in Bartow, FL, to the Citrus County Detention Facility in Lecanto, FL.

Vincent Taylor Pilla, 26, of Homosassa, FL, was charged with petit theft of $100 or more, but less than $750 ($1,000 bond).

Dillon Lee Strong, 29, of Piqua OH, who was already in custody at the Citrus County Detention Facility, was arrested on a Citrus County, FL writ of bodily attachment for failure to pay child support ($1,178 cash purge bond).

Christopher Lee Siebenaler, 44, of Spring Hill, FL, was arrested on a writ of bodily attachment ($1,678 bond).

Faith Marie Bergman, 43, of Homosassa, FL, who was already in custody at the Citrus County Detention Facility, was arrested on a Citrus County, FL writ of bodily attachment for failure to pay child support ($1,678 cash purge bond).

Kalie Nicole Weder, 31, of Crystal River, FL, was arrested in the 700 block of W. Hampshire Blvd. in Dunnellon, FL, as a fugitive from justice on a Canadian County, OK warrant for grand larceny (no bond).

Scott Timothy Smith, 52, of Floral City, FL, was charged with domestic battery (no bond).    

Jesse Andrew Alsieux, 52, of Ocala, FL, was arrested at the intersection of W. Main St. and N. Seminole Ave. in Inverness, FL, on a Polk County, FL warrant for felony battery (committing battery with a previous battery conviction) with his bond set at none.    

Fredrick James Brown, 61, of Homosassa, FL, was charged with assault (intentional, unlawful threat, by word or act, to do violence to another) and domestic battery (no bond).

Evan Lee Bragg, 31, of Hernando, FL, was arrested at his residence on a Citrus County, FL warrant for violation of felony probation (probation for carrying a concealed firearm) with his bond set at none.

Billy Joe Roseberry, 36, of Homosassa, FL, was arrested at the intersection of W. Meadow St. and S. Robbies Pt. in Homosassa, on a writ of bodily attachment for failure to pay child support ($1,178 cash purge bond bond).

William John McMurry, 51, of Inverness, FL, was charged with possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and possession of drug parahernalia ($3,000 bond). The arrest was the result of an urgent wellbeing check in the 800 block os Norma Ave. in Inverness, due to the report of a man being asleep inside a blue Hyundai sports utility vehicle, for several hours, with the rear hatch and driver's door open. The report stated that it took several attempts by a deputy to awaken the man, later identified as Mr. McMurray, who was confused (disoriented as to place and time). The report stated, that on the passenger seat, a deputy found 0.5 gram of fentanyl residue inside a clear baggie, a red plastic straw and tin foil that was used for storing narcotics, that Mr, McMurray denied ownership of. He was additionally charged with violation of his Citrus County, FL felony probation (probation for possession of methamphetamine) with his bond set at none.

Brian Daniel Harper, 39, of Homosassa, FL, was charged with violation of an injunction for protection against domestic violence by coming to or being within 500 feet of a designated place (no bond).

James Paul Bowen, 55, of Inglis, FL, was arrested on a Citrus County, FL warrant for violation of misdemeanor probation (probation for operating a motor vehicle without a valid license) with his bond set at none.

Christopher Scott Davis, 38, of Inverness, FL, was arrested on a Citrus County, FL warrant for failure to appear in court on a misdemeanor charge of driving while license suspended or revoked, a subsequent offense (no bond).

Brett Jarret Katz, 39, of Holiday, FL, who was already in custody at the Citrus County Detention Facility, was arrested on an Alachua County, FL warrant for failure to appear in court on a felony charge of failure to redeliver hired or leased property, with his bond set at release on his own recognizance.

Felicitie Marie Gillette, 27, of Hernando, FL, was charged with trespassing after warning ($1,000 bond).

Dana Lea Harbison, 34, of Homosassa, FL, was charged with trafficking or endeavoring to traffic in stolen property and giving false verification of ownership or false identification to a pawnbroker ($10,000 bond).

Thomas Wayne Hale, 30, of Homosassa, FL, was charged with possession of drug parapahernalia ($1,000 bond).

Shannon Melissa Spangler, 41, of Homosassa, FL, was issued a notice to appear in court citation, charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, with her bond set at release on her own recognizance. The arrest occurred during a traffic stop of a gold sports utility vehicle traveling north in an unspecified area of S. Florida Ave. (Inverness/Floral City, FL area), due to the driver failing to stay within his lane of traffic, several times within a short distance, the report stated. Ms. Spangler, a passenger inside the vehicle, was found to be in possession of a plastic baggie that contained heroin residue, the report stated.

Harley Ockerman, 41, of Inverness, FL, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia ($3,000 bond).

Sean Andrew Fedirko, 39, of Homosassa, FL, was charged with misuse of a laser lighting device by shining it on a driver ($5,000 bond).

Ian Robert Anthony, 42, of Crystal River, FL, was arrested at E. Turner Camp Rd. and N. Sheltering Oaks Dr. in Inverness, FL, on a Citrus County, FL warrant for failure to appear in court on a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia ($2,000 bond).

Andrew Barry Tinker, 59, of Homosassa, FL, was charged with aggravated battery - intentionally causing bodily harm ($2,000 bond). Deputies were dispatched to a S. Winding Oaks Dr., Homosassa residence due to the complaint of a dispute between roommates. According to the report, the homeowner, Mr. Tinker, had invited the victim to live in his home, about a week and a half previously, because the victim had no place to live, and the two had not gotten along, allegedly due to Tinker's substance abuse, according to the victim. Mr. Tinker had contacted deputies, who determined that the situation was a civil matter, and one party would have to be evicted. While deputies were still on the property, the victim ran outside, appealing to the deputies for help, with a scratch-type laceration to his throat and blood on his shirt, that he said came from a slicing motion by Mr. Tinker to his throat with a short-bladed fillet type knife. Deputies located a knife that matched the victim's description, in the kitchen sink, but it had no blood on it, the report stated.

Daniel Garrett Stokes, 38, of Homosassa, FL, who was already in custody at the Citrus County Detention Facility, was arrested on a Monroe County, FL warrant for sale of oxycodone and unlawful use of a two-way communication device (no bond).

Dennis L. Johnson, 65, of Floral City, FL, was arrested in the 7800 block of N. Carl G. Rose Hwy. in Hernando, FL, on a Citrus County, FL writ of bodily attachment (no bond).

Christopher Joshua McKeown, 33, of Homosassa, FL, was arrested on two warrants: violation of misdemeanor probation (no bond) and failure to appear in court on a misdemeanor charge (no bond).

Glenn Michael Canetti, 58, of Crystal River, FL, was charged with felony battery (committing battery with a previous battery conviction) with his bond set at none.

Jayce Dean Munson, 19, of Inverness, FL, was charged with driving while license knowingly suspended and fleeing from a law enforcement officer in pursuit ($2,500 bond). The arrest report stated that a deputy attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a blue Hyundai vehicle, after a deputy observed the vehicle making an illegal left turn through a traffic median when it exited the Circle K gas station parking lot, located at 1232 Hwy 41 N. in Inverness at the intersection with Eden Dr., to turn west onto Eden Dr., but the vehicle, driven by Mr, Munson, accelerated away from the deputy, running a stop sign, and the pursuit was cancelled. A short time later, the same vehicle crashed into a telephone pole at Desota Ave. and Nola St. in Inverness, and the deputy learned that the driver's license of the driver (Munson) had been suspended as of Sept. 27, 2021.
