Mr. Hedden's female roommate told a deputy that she and Hedden have been roommates for six years, and they are not in a dating relationship, but Hedden has recently been insistent that they are, and during an argument, he'd gone into a spare bedroom where he keeps his firearms and she'd heard a clicking sound before he'd exited the bedroom with a sawed-off, break-action shotgun and then threatened to blow her head off. The victim told the deputy that she retreated to the bathroom to call 911, fearful he would shoot her, but she didn't know if he'd loaded the firearm or not.
