John Anthony Mahatcek, 29, of Crystal River, FL, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and driving while license knowingly suspended or revoked, first offense ($2,500 bond). During a traffic stop conducted due to a vehicle traveling 65 mph in a 55 mph speed zone in Lecanto on S. Lecanto Hwy. (CR 491), Mr. Mahatcek, the driver, was found to be in possession of 0.6 gram of methamphetamine.

Tyler James Allen Miller, 20,of Inverness, FL, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court on a misdemeanor charge ($2,000 bond).

Joshua Lee Huggins, 34, of Homosassa, FL, was charged with aggravated child abuse (no bond).

Lenin Edilberto Avila, 22, of Tampa, FL, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court on a misdemeanor charge.

Melinda Denise Edwards, 29, of Inverness, FL, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of cannabis less than 20 grams, and possession of drug paraphernalia ($4,000 bond).

Timothy Deandre Neal, 34, of Bronson, FL, was arrested on a Citrus County, FL warrant for violation of felony probation (probation for obstructing a crime investigation) with his bond set at none. He was transported from the Dixie County Jail in Cross City, FL, to the Citrus County Detention Facility in Lecanto, FL. 

Robert Eugene Herr, 21, of Beverly Hills, FL, was arrested on a warrant for violation of felony probation.

Ryan Anthony MacDonald, 34, of Hernando, FL, was arrested on a Citrus County, FL warrant for violation of misdemeanor probation (probation for petit theft) with his bond set at none. 

Alexander Bechdolt, 47, of Dunnellon, FL, was charged with aggravated assault of a law enforcement officer and resisting an officer with violence ($10,000 bond) and battery of a person 65 years of age or older (no bond). Mr. Bechdolt is accused of pushing an elderly woman onto an ironing board, which caused her to fall to the ground and then of twisting her toes, causing her pain. The report stated that he fought with deputies when they, at first, attempted to first speak with him, and later, attempted to take him into custody for everyone's safety. Deputies were forced to use a taser (stun weapon) on Mr. Bechdolt's person, several times, to take him into custody. The report stated, at one point in the struggle, deputies had to pull Mr. Bechdolt out from under a bed.

Thomas Peter Ianello, 36, of Crystal River, FL, was charged with fleeing from a law enforcement officer in pusuit and resisting an officer without violence ($3,000 bond); and violation of felony probation (probation for fleeing and attempting to elude law enforcement) with his bond set at none. The arrest report stated that a deputy attempted to conduct a traffic stop on Mr. Ianello's vehicle in Crystal River, due to his failure to stop at a stop sign at W. Pine Circle before making a right turn, but he continued driving and failed to stop for more than an hour, much of the time traveling on his vehicle's rims because all four of Mr. Ianello's tires were punctured by stop sticks, early in the pursuit. The pursuit continued into Citrus Hills, where he was taken into custody. The report stated that Mr. Ianello also pulled away from deputies when they attempted to take him into custody.

Emil Howard Borrmann, 51, of Homosssa, FL, was arrested on a Citrus County writ of bodily attachment warrant ($2,177 cash bond) and also charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of cannabis less than 20 grams, and possession of drug paraphernalia ($4,000 bond). The report stated that a deputy, aware that Mr. Borrman had the writ for his arrest, saw him riding a bicycle in Homosassa and conducted a traffic stop. He was found to be in possession of 0.93 gram of methamphetamine, 0.93 gram of cannabis, and a glass smoking pipe that contained methamphetamine residue.

Eleazar Richard Van Nort, 33, of Hernando, FL, was charged with theft of a motor vehicle, failing to remain at the scene of a crash with property damage, fleeing from law enforcement while speeding and disregarding safety, and resisting an officer without violence ($8,000 bond). The arrest report stated that a deputy saw a man (later identified as Mr. Van Nort) driving a 2009 silver Chrysler Sebring vehicle near the Circle K gas station, located at 1232 U.S. Hwy 41 S. in Inverness, FL, that had just been reported stolen from the 2700 block of N. Forest Ridge Blvd. in Hernando, FL. Deputies went in pursuit of the vehicle, but the vehicle continued traveling recklessly. Mr. Van Nort jumped out of the vehicle at the intersection of S. Great Oaks Dr. and E. Lake Bradley Dr., which resulted in the vehicle crashing into a tree. Van Nort fled from deputies, but he was eventually taken into custody by a Florida Highway Patrol trooper who had assisted in the pursuit of Van Nort, who resisted arrest. On July 11, while still incarcerated at the Citrus County Detention Facility, Van Nort was charged with petit theft of less than $100, and burglary of an occupied residence ($15,500 bond). In the burglary case, Mr. Van Nort is accused going into the victim's residence in a senior apartment complex while the victim was home, taking a zippered wallet that contained $9 in cash and an unknown amount of change, along with the victim's car keys to a silver 2009 Chrysler Sebring, and then leaving in the victim's vehicle.

Timothy Scott Chisari, 44, of Citrus Springs, FL, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court on a misdemeanor charge ($2,000 bond).

Cameron Elton Corbin, 53, of Lecanto, FL, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and driving while license knowingly suspended or revoked, first offense ($2,500 bond).

Dustin Jay Lemon, 42, of Brooksville, FL, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and driving while license knowingly suspended or revoked, fifth offense with four previous convictions ($4,000 bond). During a traffic stop in Inverness, FL, conducted due to the vehicle having a cracked windshield and a tag that was assigned to another vehicle that was no longer registered, Mr. Lemon, the driver, was found to be in possession of 25.9 grams of marijuana

James Carl Ward, 57, and Penny D. Burnham, 50, both of Plant City, FL, were each charged with retail petit theft of more than $100, but less than $750.

Richard Russell Talkington, 32, of Lecanto, FL, was charged wih battery of a person employed to provide a public service ($10,000 bond).

Katie Wren Martin, 33, of Lecanto, FL, turned herself in at the Citrus County Detention Facility in Lecanto, FL and was arrested on a Citrus County, FL warrant for violation of misdemeanor probation (probation for driving under the influence) with her bond set at none.

Nicole Ann Kuziak, 33, of Inverness, FL, was charged with aggravated stalking, which is in violation of an injunction for protection ($10,000 bond).

Evelyn Marie Brewer, 58, of Homosassa, FL, was charged with animal cruelty ($2,000 bond). Ms. Brewer is accused of failin to seek veterinary care for a duck that was suffering from poor mobility, possibly due to a poor diet. The report stated that the animal was euthanized due to it's poor mobility and suffering.

Dakota Allen Marcy, 23,of Dunnellon, FL, was charged with trafficking or endeavoring to traffic in stolen property, and grand theft of $5,000 or more, but less than $10,000 ($7,000 bond).

Matthew Ryan Costello, 33, of New Port Richey, FL, was charged with criminal mischief or $200 or less, damaging a coin machine with intent to conduct larceny, and possession of burglary tools ($13,000 bond).

Aaron Keith Davis, 43, of Portland, OR, was charged with driving while license knowingly suspended or revoked, and possession of drug paraphernalia ($1,500 bond). He was also arrested on a writ of bodily attachment for failure to pay child support ($3,177 cash purge bond).

Joseph Arnold Kingman, 56, of Hernando, FL, was charged with agravated battery using a deadly weapon ($10,000 bond).

Jeremy Allen Hayes, 31, of Inverness, FL, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia ($1,000 bond).

Amanda Michele Finn, 35, of Homosassa, FL, was charged with possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and possession of drug paraphernalia ($3,000 bond).

Dean Ray Ridley, Jr., 31, of Homosassa, FL, was arrested on a Marion County, FL warrant for failure to appear in court on a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia ($500 bond).

Jacob Ray Mitchell, 28, of Brooksville, FL, who was already incarcerated at the Citrus County Detention Facility, was arrested on three Hernando County, FL warrants for failure to appear in court: one on a misdemeanor charge of possession of marijuana less than 20 grams ($2,000 bond), one on misdemeanor charges of possession of marijuana less than 20 grams and operating an unregistered motor vehicle ($4,000 bond), and one on a felony charge of burglary of a dwelling (no bond).

Caitlynn Marie Hall, 22, of Beverly Hills, FL, was arrested on a Pasco County, FL warrant for failure to appear in court on a misdemeanor charge of battery ($13 bond).

Hugh Michael Reddick, 36, of Homosassa, FL, was charged with  burglary of an unoccupied residence ($5,000 bond).

Dwann Detrio McCray, 39, of Hernando, FL, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of cannabis less than 20 grams, and possession of drug paraphernalia ($5,000 bond). He was also charged with violation of felony proabtion (probation for aggravated assault) with his bond set at none. During a traffic stop in Hernando, conducted due to Mr. McCray making an east turn onto E. Posselt Dr. at 65 mph, Mr. McCray was found to be in possession of 5.1 grams of cocaine, 5.7 grams of cannabis, and a plastic case that contained cocaine residue, according to his arrest report.

James Clinton Marvin, Jr., 42, of Crystal River, FL, was charged with failure to appear in court on a felony charge.

Mario Pulido, 32, of Floral City, FL, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court on a misdemeanor charge ($2,000 bond).

Matthew Lee Tysinger, 28, of Cedar Key, FL, who was already incarcerated at the Citrus Couny Detention Facility, was arrested on a Levy County, FL warrant for failure to appear in court on a misdemeanor charge of loitering ($4,000 bond).

Adam Sha Head, 28, of Homosassa, FL, was charged with resisting an officer without violence and aggravated battery of a person 65 years of age or older ($11,000 bond).

Angel Renee Hammock, 52, of Inverness, FL, was charged with giving a false report of a crime to a law enforcement officer ($1,000 bond). The report stated, that on July 2, she reported that her van had been stolen. During an investigation, deputies learned that a relative of Ms. Hammock had wrecked her vehicle, and Ms. Hammock was aware of the crash, a short time before she reported to deputies that her vehicle had been stolen from her driveway. She later admitted to deputies that she'd made the false report, according to he arrest report.

Jeremy O. C. Cook, 34, of Beverly Hills, FL, was charged with domestic battery (no bond).

Dmitry Michael Roberts, 23, of Lake Panasoffkee, FL, was charged with failure to appear in court on a misdemeanor charge of operating a motorcycle without a driver's license ($1,000 bond).

James Perry Thomas, 34, of Inverness, FL, was charged with hindering, delaying or preventing communication to a law enforcement officer or judge information relating to an offense or violation of probation, criminal mischief with property damage of $200 or more, but less than $1,000; and resisting an officer without violence ($4,000 bond) and domestic battery (no bond).

Chester Alexander Lee, 42, of Homosassa, FL, was arrested on a Citrus County, FL warrant for felony domestic battery by strangulation (no bond). He was transported from the Volusia County Jail in Daytona Beach, FL, to the Citrus County Detentio Facility in Lecanto, FL.

William Louis Root, 65, of Homosassa, FL, was charged with driving while license knowingly suspended or revoked, first offense ($500 bond).

Shauna Mariah Carpenter, 21, of Crystal River, FL, was arrested on a warrant for violation of felony probation. She was also charged with resisting an officer without violence ($1,000 bond).

Jada Catherine Buchner, 24, of Beverly Hills, FL, was arrested on a warrant for violation of felony probation (no bond). She was also charged with possession of cannabis less than 20 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia ($2,000 bond). 

Carey Glenn Norton, 48, of Homosassa, FL, turned himself in at the Citrus County Sheriff's Office Warrants Division and was arrested on a Citrus County, FL warrant for domestic battery (no bond).

Benjamin Allen Jones, 59, of Dunnellon, FL, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court on a misdemeanor charge ($2,000 bond).

Jonathon Michael Argerenon, 42, of Crystal River, FL, was charged with possession of a controlled substance ($2,000 bond). The report stated that a traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle Mr. Argerenon was driving, at W. Potomac Ln. and S. Casey Pt. in Homosassa, FL, when the deputy ran the license plate and learned that the driver's license of the registered owner (Mr. Argerenon) had been suspended. The arrest report stated that Mr. Argerenon tossed an item out of the vehicle onto W. Potomoc Ln. which was found to be a clear plastic bag that contained 5.1 grams of a crystal-like substance that tested positive for methamphetamine.

Lamark Daniel, 50, of Dunnellon, FL, was charged with failing to register as a felon within 48 hours of being convicted of a felony in Florida ($500 bond). 

Michael Kevin Burks, 57, of Citrus County, FL, was charged with aggravated battery using a deadly weapon ($10,000 bond). Mr. Burks is accused of stabbing a person with a steak knife during an argument that occurred during a meal at a Crystal River residence.

James Cody Reed, 38, of Homosassa, FL, was arrested on a warrant for violation of felony probation. He was also charged with resisting an officer without violence ($1,000 bond).
 
Lindie Marie Wilkins, 30, of Inverness, FL, was arrested on a warrant for violation of felony probation.

Thomas Jason Turner, 39, of Homosassa, FL, was arrested on a warrant for violation of misdemeanor probation.

Gary Lee Klingman, Jr., 49, of Homosassa, FL, was arrested on a warrant for violation of misdemeanor probation ($4,500 bond).

Heather Lisa Holohan, 50, of Inverness, FL, was charged with burglary of an occupied structure ($15,000 bond). Ms. Holocan is accused of taking a red and yellow bicycle, valued at $100, along with a potted plant, from the vitim's property while the victim was home. The home's video surveillance showed that the incident occurred about 2:15 pm on July 7, and by way of the video, Ms. Holohan (whom the victim did not know) was identified as the suspect. The report stated that the bicycle was located behind a shed at Ms. Holohan's residence.

Barbara Ann Kuniski, 53, of Floral ciity, FL, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court on a misdemeanor charge ($2,000 bond).

Brodrick Larnell Houston, 32, of Inverness, FL, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug parpahernalia ($3,000 bond). During a traffic stop conducted at 2400 Forest Dr. in Inverness due to a white Dodge Dakota pickup truck having a cracked windshield and its two occupants not wearing a seatbelt, the driver, Mr. Houston, was found to be in possession of 6.0 grams of methamphetamine and a plastic straw that contained methamphetamine residue.

Jennifer Paige Lind, 21, of Crystal River, FL, was charged with retail petit theft of $100 or less.

James Clifford Cole, III, 28, of Beverly Hills, FL, was arrested on a Citrus County warrant for grand theft of $750 or more, but less than $5,000; and trafficking or attempting to traffic in stolen property ($7,000 bond).

A 16 year-old Inverness, FL youth (whose name is being withheld) was transported from the Marion Juvenile Detention Center in Ocala, FL to the Citrus County Detention Facility in Lecanto, FL, arrested on two Citrus County, FL felony warrants: (1) one for grand theft of $750 or more, but less than $5,000; violating Florida's driver's license law, trafficking or endeavoring to traffic in stolen property, grand theft of a firearm, failing to stop or fleeing from a law enforcement officer after being ordered to stop, possession of drug paraphernalia, and burglary during which the suspect becomes armed with an explosive or other dangerous weapon ($45,500 bond); (2) and the other for two counts of theft of a motor vehicle and burglary of an unoccupied motor vehicle($13,000 bond).

Steven William Jennings, 51, of Inverness, FL, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia ($1,000 bond).

Jessie Nichole James, 31, of Lecanto, FL, was arrested on a Citrus County, FL warrant for two counts of violation of misdemeanor probation (no bond).

Marshall Ray Daugherty, 35, of Trenton, FL, was arrested on a Citrus County, FL warrant for violation of felony probation (probation for possession of a firearm or ammunition by a felon). He was transported from the Levy County Detention Bureau in Bronson, FL, and booked into the Citrus County Detention Facility in Lecanto, FL, with his bond set at none.

Chuck Elwyn McNett, 45, of Hernando, FL, was charged with driving while license knowingly suspended or revoked, second offense ($1,000 bond).
