Levy County Detention Bureau, Bronson, Florida
Three people who are all suspects in multiple burglaries in Citrus and Hernando counties, were arrested, July 2, as the result of a phone call from a concerned person in Williston, FL to a Levy County Sheriff’s Office communications dispatcher. Those arrrested (see mugshots and photo of truck with boxes) were Timothy Pearson, 34, Triana Taylor, 35, both of Williston, FL, and Douglas Dwayne Jordan, 32, of Homosassa, FL. The caller said she saw a grey Dodge Ram pickup truck come into her subdivision, early that morning, and several hours later, she saw the same truck, traveling in the opposite direction, loaded down with boxes. She said the driver was a man, and he carried two passenger, another man and a woman. She said the driver asked her to move her vehicle to the side of the road, so his truck could get by her on the narrow road. A deputy soon got behind the described truck, which was traveling north on SR 121, and the truck took evasive action. The deputy conducted a traffic stop on the truck, and the male on the passenger side of the truck fled into a wooded area. Detectives were able to track the items on the truck as new appliances that had been delivered to a home under construction. The driver and female passenger were taken into custody at the scene of the traffic stop, and the third suspect was located on the front porch of a nearby home after the resident was alerted to his presence by his doorbell camera.
