Christopher Barnes, 43, of Bronson, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, June 22, charged with battery, a second or subsequent offense; and possession of a controlled substance without a prescription ($75,000 bond).

Bradley Brower, 21, of Archer, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, June 23, charged with resisting or obstructing an officer without violence, with his bond set at credit for time served.

Karen Latron Edwards, 49, of Chiefland, FL, was arrested by the Chiefland Police Department, June 23, charged with trespassing, with his bond set at $1,000.

Ledier Fernandez, 23, of Tampa, FL, was arrested by the Florida Highway Patrol, June 26, on an out of county warrant, with his cash bond set at $513. 

Jeremy Joseph Haggerty, 45, of Trenton, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, June 27, charged with possession of a conrolled substance without a prescription, and violation of a condition of pretrial release (no bond).

William Joseph Harris, 27, of Bronson, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, June 21, charged with driving while license suspended, first offense ($1,000 bond).

Charles Haven, 29, of Bronson, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, June 25, charged with having a license plate not registered to the vehicle, possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, and possession of drug equipment ($25,000 bond).

Kim Hyde, 47, of Bronson, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, June 21, on an out of county warrant (no bond). He was also charged with resisting or interfering with a law enforcement officer without violence ($25,000 bond).

John Keith Ice, 44, of Chiefland, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, June 27, charged with criminal mischief with property damage of $200 or less ($15,000 bond).

Michael William Johns, 50, of Trenton, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, June 26, charged with driving under the influence ($5,000 bond).

Jeremy Jones, 32, of Williston, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, June 22, charged with probation violation (no bond). He was also charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell, manufaacture or deliver; possession of marijuana with intent to sell, manufacture or deliver; and possession of drug equipment ($76,000 bond).

Hunter Laroche, Sr., 21, of Bronson, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, June 27, on an out of county warrant ($400 bond).

Emily Alexandra Link, 32, of Dunnellon, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, June 24, charged with battery ($10,000 bond). During an argument with her live-in boyfriend that became physical, Ms. Link is accused of being the primary aggressor. She's accused of pushing the victim, punching his nose with a closed fist, which caused his nose to bleed, and of ripping his shirt. The arrest was based on the statement by Ms. Link, the victim, and a witness, along with dried blood being noted to Ms. Link's hand and the victim's nose, according to the arrest report.

Hilario Matlala-Miranda, 51, of Ocala, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, June 27, charged with operating a motor vehicle without a valid driver's license (no bond).

Cassy Jo McKinney, 37, of Cedar Key, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, June 21, charged with battery ($10,000 bond).

Jackie Lorene Mitchem, 62, of Bronson, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, June 21, charged with possession of cocaine, and possession of drug equipment (no bond).

Nicole Lynn Mummert, 29, of Lake City, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, June 23, charged with withholding support of child or spouse ($820 cash only bond).

Kelsea Lauren Newby, 30, of Inglis, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, June 21, on a Citrus County, FL warrant (no bond). She was also charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, and smuggling contraband into a detention facility ($100,000 bond). When Ms, Newby was booked into the Levy County Detention Bureau on the Citrus County warrant, she was found to be in possession of (inside her purse) 8.5 Subutex (buprenorphine) tablets and 0.4 gram of methamphetamine.

Denver Patterson, 34, of Chiefland, FL, was arrested by the Marion County Sheriff's Office, May 5, and booked into the Lecy County Detention Facility, June 24, on two counts of probation violation (no bond).

Amber Faith Peterson, 32, of Inglis, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, June 20, charged with failure to appear in court, with her bond set at release on her own recognizance.

Justin Nicholas Poley, 18, of Williston, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, June 27, charged with resisting or obstructing an officer without violence, and possession of drug equipment (no bond).

Philip Don Quillen, 77, of Chiefland, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, June 24, charged with arson of an occupied dwelling, criminal mischief with property damage of $1,000 or more, burglary, and resisting or obstructing an officer without violence ($1,875,000 bond). Mr. Quillen was linked by forensic evidence to two crimes that occurred at the same residence, located south of Chiefland, in Dec. 2020  and Feb. 2021. In Dec., Mr. Quillen is accused of attempting to set an occupied home on fire, and in Feb., he's accused of breaking into the home and causing more than $5,000 in damages to property inside the home.

Vaughn Quinn, III, 23, of Cedar Key, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, June 25, charged with battery ($5,000 bond).

James Raley, 21, of Bronson, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, June 27, charged with two counts of probation violation (no bond).

Tammy Roden, 52, of Trenton, FL, was arrested, April 28, and booked into the Levy County Detention Bureau, June 23, charged with driving with a suspended or revoked license, two counts of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, and possession of drug paraphernalia ($35,000 bond). She was also charged with possession of marijuana more than 20 grams (no bond).

Megan R. Roof, 29, of Inglis, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, June 27, charged with resisting or obstructing an officer without violence, and disorderly intoxication causing a disturbance (no bond). The arrest report stated that deputies arrived at Ms. Roof's Inglis residence due to a complaint of a verbal altercation, to find that Mr. Roof and her live-in boyfriend had been drinking alcoholic beverages all day and arguing about her boyfriend allegedly being with another woman. The report stated that Mrs. Roof "was screaming at the top of her lungs," difficult to understand, and deputies were unable to calm her. The report stated, that due to Ms. Link refusing to stay on her property, and going across the street where her boyfriend and a deputy were and putting her face next to their faces, claiming she had a weapon (none was seen or found), she was taken into custody, but resisted deputies.

Dustin Lee Shireman, 34, of Dade City, FL, was arrested by an Officer Tripplet with an unspecified agency, March 14, and booked into the Levy County Detention Bureau, June 25, charged with withholding support of child or spouse ($570 cash only bond).

Julieann Carol Sullivan, 20, of Bronson, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, June 23, charged with battery ($25,000 bond).

Jeffery Michael Trout, 28, of Inglis, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, June 22, charged with violating a condition of pretrial release for domestic violence, and battery ($130,000 bond). Mr. Trout is accused of going to the home of the victim, irate and searching for money, after he'd been orderd by Levy County Judge J. Bowning to have no contact with the victim as the result of a domestic disturbance that had occurred between Mr. Trout and the victim on May 12, 2021.

Timothy Paul West, 28, of Chiefland, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, June 27, on an out of county warrant (no bond).

Cathy Sue Wilkerson, 42, of Starke, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, June 25, charged with withholding support of child or spouse ($1,470 cash only bond).

Zachery Paul Wright, 29, of Williston, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, June 23, charged with aggravated battery using a deadly weapon, and false imprisonment of an adult ($500,000 bond). The victim told deputies that Mr. Wright had been keeping her captive, during the past month, inside the camper where they've lived for several months. The victim told a deputy that Wright became irate when she stayed for two days at UF Health Shands Hospital in Gainesville, FL after the birth of her son on May 24, who has been hospitalized since that time at the NICU (neonatal intensive care unit). She said that Wright had not allowed her to return to the hospital since that time. She said, when Wright allowed her to call Shands on her cell phone to check on her son, that she stepped outside and fled to the RV park manager who took her to the home of relatives in Marion County, where she contacted law enforcement. A deputy reported that the victim had an infected burn to her chest area she said was caused by Wright buring her with a propane torch, about 5 or 6 days previously, and she also had bruises to her body she said were caused by Wright beating her.
