No one injured when teen crashes into rear of school bus in Williston, FL

A 16 year-old girl from Williston Florida was issued a traffic citation for careless driving as the result of her crashing her vehicle into the rear of a school bus in Williston, Florida at 8:23 am, Thursday morning, February 8, 2024.
The crash occurred on NE 140th Court, at the intersection of NE 50th Place. Both vehicles were traveling north on NE 140th Court. The girl was driving a 2015 Hyundai, traveling behind the 2009 Thomas school bus. When the bus driver brought the school bus to a stop to pick up students at the intersection of NE 50th Place, the girl driving behind the school bus failed to stop until the front of her vehicle struck the rear of the school bus.
Neither the girl or the school bus driver, a 48 year-old woman from Bronson, Florida, or any of the 22 Williston Middle/High School students on board the school bus were injured.
