LEVY COUNTY SCHOOLS:

ALL Levy County Schools will be OPEN on Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2022.

ALL Levy County Schools will be CLOSED on Wednesday and Thursday, Sept. 28 and 29, 2022. This includes the cancellation of ALL school activities.

SPECIAL NEEDS CITIZEN TRANSPORTATION:

Special needs citizens need to be prepared to move to the special needs shelter, Bronson Elementary School, located at 400 Ishie Ave. in Bronson, Florida 32621 -  by 2:00 p.m. Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 27, 2022. This shelter will open at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday for those planning to drive themself. There is still time to register by visiting
www.floridadisaster.org/snr or www.levydisaster.com

Citizens who do not have transportation and need to evacuate to a shelter should call (352) 486-3485.

PETS:

Citizens with animals that need to be sheltered MUST bring a crate, food, bottled water (1 gallon jug per animal) and any medications the animal takes. Owners must provide the animal's Rabies vaccine certificate and proof of distemper parvo/feline distemper vaccine, administered a minimum of 7 days prior to reporting to the shelte. Levy County Animal Services will provide vaccines at a cost of $10.00 per vaccines CASH ONLY.

All animals will be sheltered at the Levy County Animal Control shelter if you cannot provide proof of vaccinations.

Levy County Landfill will be closed Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2022 at 12:00 pm noon, and also closed Thursday, Sept. 29, 2022

LEVY COUNTY PARKS - CAMPGROUNDS - BOAT RAMPS:

Devils Hammock WMA will be closed at sunset on Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2022 until further notice. 

Shell Mound Campground will be closed until further notice on 5:00 pm, Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2022.

All County fishing piers will be closed Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2022.

All Levy County Boat Ramps will be closed Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2022 at 8:00 am.

LEVY COUNTY GOVERNMENT:

All Levy County departments will be closed Wednesday and Thursday, Sept. 28 and 29, 2022.

OFFICES OF JUDICIAL & ELECTED OFFICIALS:

AIRPORT:

George T. Lewis Airport in Cedar Key, Florfida, will be closed from 8:00 am on Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2022 until 12:00 pm noon on Saturday, Oct. 1, 2022.
