Floriculture Team from Yankeetown FFA 2022 State Champions!

According to the School Board of Levy County Facebook page on March 18, the Floriculture Team from Yankeetown FFA (Future Farmers of America) won the 2022 Florida FFA Floriculture State Championship, held March 16 and 17 during National FFA Week, March 10-17, 2022. According to the school board, the win was the result of faulty scoring, which was not explained! This is Yankeetown FFA’s first-ever state championship win, and a great honor! 

The team members will be recognized on stage at the 94th Florida FFA State Convention and Expo that will be held June 13-17, at the Caribe Royale in Orlando, Florida, with the FFA Hall of Fame Induction Banquert on June 14.
