Dunnellon, Florida - Parents and custodians looking for community help during summer, with physical fitness and beating the summer learning slide for students in their familly, can find resources to help them, at the “Parent Partnership” program that will be presented by Marion County Public Schools, on Saturday, March 26, 2022, 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., at Dunnellon High School, located at 10055 SW 180 Ave. Rd. in Dunnellon, Florida 34432 and other public schools within the school district.

Limited bus transportation to the event is available to parents and children who are at least five years of age. Registration is not required to attend these events, but it will reserve your seat for your chosen session and bus stop.

Topic: Physical Fitness & Beating The Summer Slide

Marion County Public Schools (MCPS) invites you to register, for up to four sessions. The event will begin at 9:00 a.m. and offer a school performance, pledge of allegiance, and “Welcome” presentation and introduction through 9:20 a.m. Participants will then break into up to four sessions between 9:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and browse tables for school and local resource information. Families are encouraged to choose three presentations and leave a slot open for community resource table browsing. You won’t want to miss out on any of the goodies or great information. The event will include free snacks, giveaways, and resources. 

The school with the highest ratio of parents attending will claim a traveling trophy that stays with that school (this event is bein held at all schools within the school district) until the next event. “Parent Partnership” sessions showcase district efforts to build stronger relationships with families, schools, and the community.
