Celebrating SHINE-SMP Volunteers (see photos)
Elder Options celebrates the 2022 accomplishments of the Florida SHINE-SMP (Serving Health Insurance Needs of Elders - Senior Medicare Patrol) Program. The success of this volunteer-based program is dependent on trained, certified Medicare counselors who have a heart of service to help others. Last year, our 68 SHINE volunteers provided 6,270 hours of service in the community. We are so appreciative of their dedication and commitment.
Interested in becoming a SHINE volunteer? Call 1-800-262-2243, email shine@agingresources.org or visit AgingResources.org/volunteers.
