Homosassa RV fire, just 5 feet from home, extinguished

At 11:55 am on Friday, Feb. 5, Citrus County Fire Rescue was dispatched to an RV fire that was reported on W. Dolphin Ct. in Homosassa, Florida. The Engine 3 from Homosassa Fire Station arrived first on scene at 12:05 pm to find an RV, fully involved with fire in the driveway, approximately feet feet from the house. The fire was called under control at 12:10 pm, and crews cleared the scene at 1:05 pm. No injuries were reported. Others that assisted with the fire included Battalion Chief 2 and the Engine 18 crew from Sugarmill Woods Fire Station.
