In November 2020, Citrus County Fire Rescue (CCFR) was awarded an Emergency Medical Services County Grant in the amount of $12,399 from the Florida Department of Health’s Emergency Medical Services Trust Fund.
The purpose of this grant is to improve and expand pre-hospital emergency medical services. The grant money was recently used to purchase several Airtraq brand cameras and laryngoscopes, in various sizes, to facilitate intubation processes and improve visibility during critical intubation procedures.
All CCFR personnel have received training on the new equipment with the provider of this medical technology. It has been placed in service to assist with providing the best pre-hospital care possible.
The Home Depot donates 5 heavy duty fans to CCFR
