Beverly Hills brush fire reduced to 20 acres
On the afternoon of March 25, Florida Forest Service Withlacoochee Forestry Center and local firefighters battled an approximately 60-acre brush fire near the intersection of N. Sacramento Ave. and W. Corral Place in the Pine Ridge community of Beverly Hills. The fire was 75% contained by late afternoon and reduced to 20 acres. Responders plowed fire break lines to stop the spread of the fire, which is shown on a couple of the photos. Several residents evacuated their homes as a precautionary measure.
