We have entered a critical stage in Session. Now is the time for you to contact House and Senate Leadership about how necessary the rate increase is to ADT and Res Hab providers as our increase was vetoed last year. Please do not delay in making these contacts – the sooner, the better!
Community providers serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities on the APD iBudget Waiver need a rate increase for Adult Day Training and Residential services to recruit and maintain Direct Care Staff. COVID-19 made hiring staff even more difficult than previously, and now the increasing minimum wage is compounding this issue. Please add funding of $33.4 million in General Revenue to the FY 21-22 budget to provide rate increases for these four APD iBudget services.
