Wendy Mann, of Citrus County, named Tampa Bay Buccaneer Fan of the Year

According to the NFL website, Wendy got into football because she played in her high school marching band and enjoyed attending the games.

She's been a season pass member since 1995, but she'd attended games well before that time. Wendy is an encyclopedic resource for anyone who'd like to know what it was like to come out to Bucs games during any era since the 1980's. She has an incredibly sharp memory for details of what those past times were like, from not only a fan's perspective, but from a football history and knowledge perspective as well.

Wendy is also an incredibly sweet natured, good hearted person. She comes to games with her brother, Jody, to make sure they can always spend quality time together.

Wendy is appreciative of the benefits that come with being a season pass member. No matter how big or small the season pass member event, she'll make the hour long drive from her home in Crystal River, Florida to attend, and she often writes thank you letters to the organization after a game, about how grateful she was to attend.

She was there when the Bucs claimed victory in Superbowl XXXVII in San Diego, and even with the challenges of COVID, she was at Raymond James Stadium in the first row behind the videoboards for their historic Superbowl LV victory, as well. Wendy wasn't going to miss that game No. Matter. What.

Wendy's passion and loyalty for the team is unmatched. She is truly the embodiment of a Woman of Red, Buccaneers fan, in and out and through and through!
