This free contest is open to students in grades kindergarten through twelve (ages 5 through 18) who can compete for a chance to win state and national honours and prizes. Judging will be in four grade categories, grades K-3, grades 4-6, grades 7-9 and grades 10-12.
The State-Fish Art Entry consists of two parts for grades 4 through 12 and one part for grades K-3:

All students, grades, K through 12, must submit an original HORIZONTAL illustration (when you view the drawing, it should be wider than it is tall) between 8.5 to 9 inches tall and 11 to 12 inches wide in size, featuring a species from the Official Fish List, which can be viewed here: wildlifeforever.org/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/Official-Fish-List-10-28-2020.pdf
